Finding Shinobi

Icon of a bench.

FINDING SHINOBI unfolds on the edge of a landfill, where a man and his dog try to live unseen. When their scrap is stolen and the threat of violence grows, Ivan must decide what to hold onto — and what to leave behind.

Man · Dog · Vanish

Hidden deep within an active quarry turned vast landfill, Ivan lives with his dog Shinobi on the edge of Eastern Europe. The place runs on its own shadowy economy, constantly surveyed by drones. Their days follow a fragile routine: collecting metal, trading for food, and staying unseen. When a theft shatters that balance, Ivan is forced into the toxic outskirts. There, he meets a boy searching for his own way out.
As danger closes in and Shinobi is hurt, Ivan must face the fear of losing the only being that still makes him feel human.
Finding Shinobi is the second chapter in the Ivan Trilogy, following Ivan’s Gift. The final chapter is currently in development.
